  • Condition: Item has some production issues with overall roughness, a firing burst on the rim (pic 8) and uneven glaze application (pic 9). The raw clay had some minor flaws that are glazed over (pic 10 is an example) but this is not uncommon for these utilitarian crocks. There does not seem to be any recent damage to this item: no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Glaze retains its nice shine. There is staining on the bottom (pic 11). Please see pics.
