Description
This drip glaze vase, possibly vintage, was made by the Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company of Roseville, OH (marked on the bottom), which went out of business in 2005. The vase is 7 1/2" tall. The opening is 1 3/4" and 4 7/8" at its narrowest and longest points. Its base is 4" x 2 7/8". It is primarily a warm brown, with teal green, white, and lighter brown closest to the opening. There is one glaze pop and a small chip on the base ring (see pics). It has no other chips and no cracks. The glaze still has a great shine to it, so much so that it affects how the solid brown part photographs. It's a great testament to American art pottery.
