Vintage Laxa Family #83 Mystical Heart wall plaque that was made from an antique springerle cookie mold.
The piece is marked on the back with the crest brand/stamp in red and the Laxa Family label dated "Copyright 1974". There is a metal bar embedded in the ceramic so you can hang this piece on the wall. These heart molds are traditionally given as a wedding or housewarming gift. The Laxa family are known for making reproductions of antique Gingerbread German cookie board molds and for making ceramic wall plaques from their own collection of molds.
