    Description

    For bid is a GIGANTIC, original April 1959 (dated) New Orleans, Louisiana BLUE ROOM souvenir supper menu from "THE ROOSEVELT" Hotel in downtown New Orleans (130 Roosevelt Way; southwest French Quarter).  GIGANTIC menu with the top of the front panel die-cut in the shape of the hotel (back panel is rectangular).  Large illustration of the hotel in blue, lit up at night with cars passing in front of it.  Large menu with food and drink items listed with prices.  Small date of April 1959 on the back panel of the souvenir menu.  This hotel was completed in 1893.  It's a fixture of New Orleans!!
