    Test ports
    THIS KIT will work on 1999 - 2003 ford Power Stroke.  TO CHECK fuel system from tank to fuel  injectors.
    INCLUDES:
    ( A.)    ONE  (1)  FUEL PRESSURE TESTING VALVES with #4 SAE -7/16 -20NF  O-ring boss ADAPTER FITTING, 1/4" NPT  90* elbow fitting and 1/4"SAE x 1/8"NPT
    Diesel fuel and oil resistant o-ring
    Schrader Valve installed
    with brass cap.  To be installed  in port #1 before filter port, drivers side or in port #2  after filter port.( located passenger side back of filter housing.
    (  B.)     Fuel pressure REGULATOR   SPRING SHIM.  Its a  BB size stainless steel ball , not shown ( To be placed inside the spring hole in the poppet valve) to increase pressure to 60 - 75 psi .   Place the ball in the cup of the poppet If you pressure is less than 50psi before you start and the pump is running
    Always use a gauge to confirm fuel pressure during diagnosis and replacement. You will see 70 psi approx. with this spring shim vs 45psi or less under load with the stock 7.3 spring and much less with a tired worn out spring. Check you pressure first before adding the spring shim. It will increase pressure 15 to 20 psi . Check pressure before starting if over 85 psi remove the shim. ( No need  to buy the blue spring. ) See pink photo above.

    ( C )The kit  also comes with two O-rings to repair the fuel drain valve with the Torx wrench to easily remove the valve.
    ( D ) Instructions.to install TESTING VALVES, and TO CHECK fuel system from tank to fuel  injectors.
    You will be able to check:
    ( 1 ) The Fuel pressure while driving and before starting,
    ( 2 ) The  FUEL PRESURE REGULATOR valve and increase it to 60-75 PSI,
    ( 3 )The Fuel pump,
    ( 4 ) The Fuel filter when it needs to be changed. Save money on filters.
    ( 5 ) The Filter in tank when they needs to be cleaned,.   CHECK OUT YOU TUBE:  ( 7.3 Super Duty a must see video )    This is a filter that is over looked and is hard to check with out removing the tank . When it is plugged, it will die on the freeway or lose power on short drives .  THIS CAN BE  TESTED WHILE DRIVING.  With any standard fuel pressure tester.   The fuel pressure will drop as your driving  if the filter in tank needs to be cleaned.or your fuel filter needs to be changed.
    ( 6 ) Repair your Fuel Drain Valve before it starts to leak
    When you install the testing ports you should  drain and clean  the filter housing by removing the heater and  filter SAFTY VALVE   and modify for higher performance.by removing the SPRING and  Check valve in the center. CHECK OUT YOU TUBE ( 7.3 Super Duty a must see video ) and ( 7.3 high performance 1 of 2 fuel system modifications ) and ( Ford 7.3 Powerstroke loses power on accel.
