For your consideration, I am offering a exquisite and rare - set (lot) of five - English Dinner Plates heavily encrusted with gold in Pattern Number 3227 and made in England ..
This exquisite set (Lot) of English Dinner Plates feature heavy acid-etched gold bands and gold beading, done by hand with pale yellow (cream) background and white center ...
Approximate measurement for the plate is 10 3/8 inch rim diameter..
Backstamp in black the crown manufactured mark with Crown Sutherland in crown along with England below - estimated timeline is circa 1914..Each plate has the gold enameled ring to underside (indicative of highest quality)...
Light signs of age, previous use and ownership needs to be taken into consideration - A clean example to the plates with faint if any gold wear to the encrusted gold bands - free of chips cracks, stains, restoration or crazing to the Bone China - slight to none on any utensil marks to the surface glaze ...
