    ! I’m offering an exquisite example of CROWN STAFFORDSHIRE in the form of a CHAFFINCH BIRD FIGURINE. Designed by art director - JOHN T “Jack” JONES (1898-1958) who worked for the company approximately 40+ years. Made in ENGLAND. Handpainted, hand modeled. Features a finch with wings outstretched resting on a tree branch that also holds a nest containing 3 eggs (photo). Tree is flowering with blossoms. Exceptional coloring and detail (photo). Nest has a granulated texture (bocage) to it. Measures approximately 4 1/2” height, 4 1/4” across, 3” depth. High glaze finish. Clean. VERY GOOD, preowned, used condition. No chips, cracks, breaks, hairlines or restorations noted.
