    Location:
    The TPS is located within or on the side of the throttle body or carburetor.
    The Throttle Position Sensor identifies the position of the throttle plate to the
    engine computer. The signal voltage will be approximately 0.2-1.0 volt at idle and up to 4.6
    volts at wide open throttle.
    Failure Symptoms: Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) illumination, failed emission test,
    engine hesitation on light acceleration, engine hesitation during a cruise, automatic
    transmission shifting condition
