DESCRIPTION
The item for sale is "Thai Barbie" dressed fashion doll by Mattel, measuring 11-1/2 to 12 inches tall.  This doll was released in 1998 as a Collector Edition and part of the "Dolls of the World -- Asia" Collection. The features the "Kira" (Barbie friend) face mold and wears a traditional ceremonial dance costume with a headdress.
As beautiful and exotic as the land she represents,

Barbie doll is ready to perform a traditional dance, called the Lacon, in her ceremonial costume. Her headdress resembles a golden Wat (temple). Her shiny green cape has golden and red highlights and her multicolored skirt has a golden belt and sash. She has golden bracelets on each arm and her feet are bare, just like a Thai dancer!
The doll is new, never displayed and never removed from its box, which is in near-mint to mint condition (considering that this doll is from 1998). Please refer to the photos - the only exception is some shelf wear on the bottom lid of the box. It is from the collection of a doll collector who is particular about box condition.  The item has been stored in a dust-free, pet-free and non-smoking environment.
