DESCRIPTION
The item for sale is "Korean Barbie" dressed fashion doll by Mattel, measuring 11-1/2 to 12 inches tall.  This doll was released in 1988 as a Special Edition and part of the "Dolls of the World -- Asia" Collection. Barbie is dressed in the traditional Korean dress, the "hanbok".

Barbie doll represents much of the beauty and grace of her country. Wearing a costume traditional of young ladies in South Korea, her satiny pink and green jacket/dress is decorated with golden trim. Her pink shoes are almost hidden beneath her floor-length ensemble.
The doll is new, never displayed and never removed from its box, which is in near-mint - there are minor box dents in the upper right front and the back of the box, and rubs on the top and bottom lids of the box (please refer to the photos). It is from the collection of a doll collector who is particular about box condition.  The item has been stored in a dust-free, pet-free and non-smoking environment.
