Description

Super cool original Tally-Ho restaurant menu/business card from 1927. The small red card is a business card on one side, a menu on the other side (just 4 items). As a bonus, inside folds out to a little map with towns from Los Angeles, CA to Upland to San Bernadino to Barstow to Needles to Kingman to Williams to Flagstaff to Winslow, AZ, with a few towns in between.
The Tally-Ho has a San Dimas phone number and is "3 miles E of Glendora, CA on Foothill, Blvd". The card came in an envelope postmarked 1927, with a letter inside where on one page, the writer is extolling the virtues of the chicken sandwiches and coffee. The rest of the letter talks about living in San Dimas in the early days, when it was still farmland.
The card is in very good condition. The envelope is in poor condition with substantial loss as shown.
